Hiked the Kangaroo Trail and connected to the ridge trail. Hiked ~3 miles within an hour. Saw 3 kangaroos and a wallaby! We weren’t sure if we would see kangaroos but they happened to be on the path and quickly scurried away. Fun and easy hike- would recommend!
We walked/hiked the loop trail starting from entry at car park. This took roughly an hour and 45 minutes at a leisurely pace for taking photos along the way. There are steep sections leading to Trig Point lookout so take it easy if you are not a regular hiker. It was really nice to spot a beautiful wallaby. This area is also populated by many kangaroos. We went in the morning on a weekday so it was quiet and peaceful. There's a toilet, BBQ facility and benches adjacent to the car park.
So beautiful! Has a couple walking tracks, each of them with great views and opportunities to see the 'roos towards the sunset
There were around 3-4 walking trails. We spotted some echidnas and kangaroos during the trail. You can spot many kangaroos running during the track. Overall an amazing place to enjoy weekend and chill.
Uphill downhill loops wetlands trails everywhere lots of people walking, jogging or riding bikes and photography too
Great park that’s close to home but feels truly bush. An abundance of walks and trails for all abilities and some good hills to get the heart rate up. Enjoyed the lookout views and seeing kangaroos here and there. A lovely picnic ground too.
This has been a family favourite for years and today I introduced it to my granddaughter. Always an adventure going along the different trails to reach the lookout, with kangaroos and wallabies to keep you company. Great for …
It's an amazing opportunity for people to witness the kangaroos and a refreshing long trail into nature.
I love this place! Nice walks with lot of wildlife about. I especially enjoy walks in the morning as at the top of the hill near the quary you can see dozens of kangeroos relaxing and unfazed with people in the area. Last time I went …
